Lately I’ve been dabbling in JSL (Jenkins Shared Libraries). The JSL is usually written in Groovy, so I thought it’d be interesting to read the Groovy Language Documentation. Here are some of the tidbits I learned:

I’ve been on a beef jerky kick. After trails and trails of spice combinations, I couldn’t help but notice something.

I currently use GoatCounter for client-side analytics and am pleased with it. Shout-out to Martin Tournoij for creating it – Google Analytics needed some quality competition.

My dad let me borrow his jerky maker (I’ve since bought my own) – a NESCO FD-28JX JerkyXpress Dehydrator – over the holidays and now I have the bug. No, not covid, the other one, the jerky-bug. Anyways, these make for nice, little Christmas baggies. Let’s geaux.

I’m working my way through the Awakening from the Meaning Crisis series by John Vervaeke. In Episode 3: Continuous Cosmos and Modern World Grammar he’s laying out the foundation for just how saturated our language is with grammar from the Axial Age. The videos have been absolutely fascinating so far. I’m quite thankful that he took the time to makes these lectures and put them online. The snippet below is a quote from Episode 3.
