Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

Don’t take it too seriously. Experiment, experiment, experiment.


  • 10 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups half and half
  • 2 pounds strawberries (pureed with 1/2 cup of sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract


  1. Add heavy whipping cream and half and half to a large pot. Bring to boil then turn off heat
  2. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Then add sugar and whisk more
  3. Slowly add 1/2 cup of the hot cream mixture to the egg mixture to temper it while whisking. Then slowly add remaining cream mixture and continue whisking to prevent eggs from scrambling
  4. Stir in strawberry puree and vanilla extract
  5. Place mixture in fridge for 2+ hours
  6. Add mixture to ice cream machine
